No. A handgun concealed and readily accessible in a vehicle is the same crime as carrying it concealed on you.

Read ORS ch. 166’s licensing provisions on 2026-09-05: Oregon licenses CARRYING and creates no permit to acquire. The only such requirement is Measure 114, checked separately and not in force.Is there a limit on magazine capacity here?

None today, and this is the row most often reported wrong. Measure 114 would ban magazines over ten rounds, but it has never taken effect: enjoined since 2023, still before the Oregon Supreme Court, and the Legislature moved its start date to 1 January 2028.

Read ORS ch. 166 on 2026-09-05 for a capacity limit. § 166.272, the machine gun and short-barrel section, is where one would sit and it says nothing about magazines.
